The problem
An electrical contractors' association runs three connected Kentico 13 sites: a public site for news and advocacy, a branch and membership site that acts as the sign-in front door, and a members' portal whose data lives in their Dynamics 365 CRM. They needed a team who could keep all three healthy while adding features and planning ahead.
The approach
Support here means working across the whole estate, not one site at a time.
- Payments. Fat Zebra card and bank-account payments for memberships and add-on subscriptions, with payment details kept in sync with the CRM.
- Subscriptions. A revised flow for a subscription add-on, with free trials and seat-based billing, keeping the CRM as the source of truth.
- Sign-in. One Azure AD B2C sign-in shared by the membership site and the members' portal.
- Migration assessment. A trial migration to Xperience by Kentico using Kentico's own migration tool, run step by step and recording what moved cleanly and what would need rework.
- Documentation. An on-boarding suite for all three sites: architecture, features, integrations, deployment runbooks and known issues.
The outcome
The association has a team that knows the whole estate. Twenty documents and seven diagrams mean a new developer can get up to speed without relying on anyone's memory, and the migration assessment gives the association an evidence-based picture of what moving platforms would really take.
